Luchi

Luchi is a type of bread that is popular in some regions of India and Bangladesh. It is made from something called dough, which is a mixture of flour and water.

To make luchi, the dough is first made by mixing wheat flour with some water. This mixture is then kneaded (like when you play with playdough) until it becomes soft and smooth. Once the dough is ready, it is divided into small balls.

A flat surface, like a plate or board, is used to roll out each ball of dough. A rolling pin is used to flatten the dough into a circular shape. This circular dough is then fried in hot oil until it puffs up like a balloon! The puffy luchis are then taken out of the oil and drained on a paper towel to remove any extra oil.

Luchi is usually served with a variety of dishes like curries, stews and vegetables. It's yummy to eat and fun to watch it puff up when it's being cooked!
