ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Luwian language

Luwian language is a way people used to talk a long time ago in a place called Anatolia, which is now part of modern-day Turkey. Think of it as a different way of speaking, kind of like how some people speak English and others speak Spanish. Luwian was used by people who lived in Anatolia a really long time ago, like thousands of years ago, so we don't hear it being spoken today. But people can still study and learn about the language by looking at old writing and texts that have been preserved over time. It's like looking at old pictures of people and learning about what they used to wear or what games they played. People who study Luwian language can learn a lot about what life was like a long time ago and how people used to communicate.
