Lymphadenopathy

Lymphadenopathy is when the lymph nodes in your body become big and swollen. Lymph nodes are like little lumps that help fight germs and infections in your body. When you get sick, the germs can get in the lymph nodes and make them bigger. Sometimes lymph nodes can get bigger for no reason at all. Lymph nodes can be found in your neck, armpits, groin, and other places in your body. When the lymph nodes get bigger, it can be a sign that there is something wrong in your body, like an infection or a health problem. Your doctor can help you figure out why your lymph nodes are big and what you can do to make them better.
