ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

MIMO

MIMO stands for Multiple Input, Multiple Output. It is a fancy way of saying that we can use multiple antennas to send and receive signals.

Imagine you are playing catch with a friend. If you both have only one hand, you can only throw and catch one ball at a time. But if you both have two hands, you can throw and catch more balls at the same time. Similarly, with MIMO, we can use multiple antennas to send and receive more data at the same time.

MIMO technology is useful because it helps to improve the speed and quality of wireless communication. It is used in everything from Wi-Fi to cellular networks. By using multiple antennas, we can send and receive data faster, and with fewer errors.

So when you are watching a video on YouTube or downloading a big file, you can thank MIMO for making it happen quickly and easily.
