MMX (instruction set)

MMX is an instruction set (a set of instructions that tells a computer what to do) that helps a computer work faster and better. It was developed by Intel and first released in 1997. The instructions in MMX help the computer process data faster by making it easier to manipulate multiple numbers at once and combine them together. For example, if you want to multiply two numbers together, MMX can quickly help the computer multiply them and give you the result.
