MPPT

MPPT stands for Maximum Power Point Tracking. It is a technology used in solar panel systems to make sure that the panels are operating at their optimal power output. Think of it like a race car driver constantly adjusting their speed and direction to stay on the best racing line and achieve maximum speed.

Solar panels generate electricity by converting the sun's energy into electrical energy through a process called photovoltaics. But the power output of the solar panels varies depending on factors like the amount of sunlight they receive, the temperature, and other environmental conditions.

The MPPT technology in solar panels continuously monitors and adjusts the electrical load to ensure that the panels are always operating at their maximum power output. The MPPT technology does this by constantly measuring the voltage and current of the solar panel system and adjusting the electrical load accordingly.

In simpler terms, MPPT ensures that solar panels are working at their best by constantly measuring and optimizing the amount of energy they produce. It's like having a smart robot that makes sure your solar panels are always performing at their best, even when the clouds come out or when the temperature changes. This way, you get more energy from your panels, and you can save money on your energy bills.
