Machine olfaction

Machine olfaction is a technology used to identify things by their smell. It works by using a special kind of machine that can detect different molecules in a smell. Just like we can smell different things in the air with our nose, the machine can detect different molecules in the smell, like different types of fruits or flowers. The machine can then tell what kind of smell it is, and that can tell us what thing the smell is coming from.
