Macroethics and microethics

Macroethics and microethics are two related but different ways of thinking about morality. Macroethics is the idea of looking at overall moral principles when making decisions. It involves thinking about what's best for everyone and doing what's right for the society as a whole. Microethics, on the other hand, is about looking at the moral decisions we make in our everyday lives. It means thinking about how our individual decisions might affect others, and taking responsibility for our actions. For example, macroethics might involve laws against stealing or cheating, while microethics might involve a person not telling a lie even though they know it would benefit them. So macroethics looks at broader principles and laws, while microethics looks at individual decisions.
