ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Maes Knoll

Maes Knoll is a big hill in England. It's in the countryside, and it's kind of like a big bump sticking out of the ground.

A long, long time ago, people used to live near Maes Knoll. They didn't have houses like we do now, though. Instead, they lived in round houses made out of wood and straw. They would hunt and gather food, and they would have to be very careful because there were wild animals like bears and wolves that could hurt them.

Fast forward a bit to more recent times. People still go to Maes Knoll today to see the hill and the countryside, but they don't live there anymore. There are still some clues left from the people who used to live there so long ago, though. Archaeologists have found things like bits of pottery and pieces of tools that the people used.

It's really interesting to think about all the things that have happened around Maes Knoll over the years!
