Magnetosphere

The magnetosphere is like a big bubble around Earth that's made of magnetic energy. Just like your skin protects your body, the magnetosphere protects the Earth. It blocks the sun's energy, like when you use sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun. The magnetosphere also helps keep the air around Earth clean. That's important because it's full of Earth’s satellites and space ships, so keeping the air clean helps these things work better.
