Maltese alphabet
The Maltese alphabet is a special way of writing down the sounds of a language called Maltese. It is made up of 30 letters, each of which makes a different sound when you say it out loud.
When you start learning the Maltese alphabet, you might notice that some of the letters look similar to the ones you already know. For example, the letter "A" in Maltese looks just like the one you use in English. But there are also some letters that look very different, like the letter "Ħ," which has a little line on top of it.
Each of these letters has its own sound, just like each of the letters in the English alphabet. Learning the Maltese alphabet is the first step towards being able to read and write in Maltese.
