Mandocello

The mandocello is a large string instrument that looks a lot like a guitar, but is much bigger! It usually has 8 strings and is played with a pick. It produces a deep, mellow sound, similar to that of a cello, which is where it gets its name. It's used in folk music and jazz, and is a popular choice for soloists. It's a great instrument for adding low-end sound to any type of music.
