ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Manifesto

A manifesto is a big list of things someone wants to change or make better in the world. Think of it like making a plan for a big game or a party. You make a list of what you want to do, who you want to invite, and what kind of food you want to eat.

But a manifesto is even bigger than that! It's like a plan for how the world should be. When people write a manifesto, they usually have really strong opinions about how things are going right now and what should be done differently. They want to share their ideas with as many people as possible, so they write it down and give it to other people to read.

A manifesto can be about anything - politics, art, the environment, education, anything! And it's usually very passionate and powerful, because the person writing it really believes in what they're saying.

So, when you hear someone talking about a manifesto, just remember that it's like a really big plan for how things should be done differently, and they're sharing their ideas with the world.
