Manifesto of the Ninety-Three

A manifesto is a document written by somebody to explain their beliefs and the things they think need to change. The "Manifesto of the Ninety-Three" was written by a group of scientists and intellectuals in Germany in 1911 to express their belief that science was the only path to true knowledge. They argued that all knowledge should be determined through scientific methods, instead of listening to superstition and religious faith. In their manifesto, they said that all other forms of knowledge should be rejected, and science should be the guide to knowledge.
