Mansions of Rastafari

Okay little one, so Mansions of Rastafari is a term that refers to different groups or branches of the Rastafari movement.

Rastafari is a religion that started in Jamaica in the 1930s and is based on the belief that Ras Tafari (Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia) is the messiah, or a god-like figure who will bring salvation and liberation to Black people.

But, despite having similar beliefs about Haile Selassie, Rastafarians organize themselves into different "mansions" or groups. These groups have different ideas about how to worship and follow Rastafari, even though they share common ground.

One mansion might emphasize strict veganism, while another might focus on drumming and music. Each mansion tends to have its own rules, culture, and practices. Kind of like how different families have different traditions or ways of doing things.

It's important to remember that, while there are differences between these groups or mansions, they are all part of the larger Rastafari movement and share the overall goal of liberation, unity, and love for all people.
