ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Maoism–Third Worldism

Okay kiddo, Maoism-Third Worldism is a very big idea but I'll try to make it simple. Maoism is based on the ideas of a man named Mao Zedong, who was a leader of China many years ago. He believed in helping poor people and making sure everyone had equal rights.

Third Worldism is the idea that countries that are not as rich as other countries (like the United States, for example) have to work together to fight against the richer countries.

So when you put Maoism and Third Worldism together, it means that people in poor countries should follow the ideas of Mao to make things better for everyone. This includes helping poor people, making sure everyone has the same opportunities, and working together with other poor countries to stand up against the rich countries.

It’s like when you and your friends help each other with homework or chores, it’s easier when you work together!

But it’s important to remember that everyone has different ideas about what’s best for their country, and some people might disagree with Maoism-Third Worldism. It’s okay to have different opinions, as long as we respect each other and treat everyone kindly.
