Okay kiddo, so Maple Mountain is a big hill (like the ones you slide down in winter!) in the province of Ontario. But what's special about this hill is that it's covered in maple trees! And you know what comes from maple trees? Maple syrup! That's the sweet, sticky syrup that you love to pour on your pancakes.
People in Ontario like Maple Mountain because they can tap (like a straw!) the maple trees to collect sap. They also put special buckets (like the ones you use to build sandcastles on the beach!) at the bottom of each tree to catch the sap that comes out. Once they have enough sap, they boil it (like when we make soup!) until it turns into maple syrup!
So when you visit Maple Mountain, you can see the beautiful trees, helping out the people who make maple syrup, and even taste some of the delicious syrup!
