Marching girls

Okay, so imagine you're watching a parade and you see a group of girls all dressed up in the same outfit. They're walking in a line and moving their arms and legs at the same time. That's what we call marching girls!

These girls practice a lot to make sure they're all moving together perfectly. They have a leader, usually called a captain, who tells them when to start and stop, and shows them what moves to do.

Sometimes the marching girls carry pom-poms or flags, and they'll even dance and twirl them in the air while they march.

Marching girls usually perform at parades, football games, and other big events. People love watching them because they look so cool and coordinated. It's like watching a really cool dance that's done by a whole team of people wearing matching outfits!
