Market run

A market run is when a lot of people start selling their stocks at the same time, usually because they're worried that something bad might happen to the stock market. This can cause the stock market to go down quickly, and it can make stock prices very low. People who are trying to make money in the stock market don't like market runs because it can mean they have to sell their stocks quickly and don't make as much money as they had hoped.
