Markov chain approximation method

Markov chain approximation is a way of predicting how likely something is to happen. It works by looking at a group of events, or "states," and trying to figure out which ones happen more often than others. Think of it like predicting which number comes next in a game of dice. Markov chain approximation looks at all of the possible numbers that could come up and estimates which one is the most likely.
