Mars Direct

Mars Direct is a plan to send people to Mars. It says that you can use materials you can find on Mars to get there. To do this, a spaceship would be sent to Mars to get the materials and bring them back to Earth. Then, another spaceship would be sent to Mars with people on board. They would use the materials to build things they need on Mars and make a home there. The whole process would take a few years, but it would make it possible for people to live and work on Mars.
