Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter

The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter is a special type of spacecraft that goes around Mars in space. It takes lots of pictures of Mars so that scientists can learn about the planet. It's like a giant camera that takes pictures of Mars from a long way away. The pictures tell us things like how the surface of Mars is shaped, what types of rocks are there, and what kinds of clouds are in the sky.
