Mars Scout Program was an American space exploration program that sent spacecrafts to explore the planet Mars. The program started in 2003 and it lasted for about 10 years. Every two years, the program would launch a spacecraft to explore different parts of Mars. The spacecrafts were sent to take pictures of the surface of Mars, take measurements of the atmosphere, and look for signs of water or life. The Mars Scout Program ended in 2013, but the data it collected provide us with important knowledge about Mars.
