Marva Collins

Marva Collins was an educator who believed that every child was capable of learning. She founded her own school to prove her theory, called Westside Preparatory School. She believed that all children had special talents and by providing an environment that celebrated their strengths and interests, they could reach their fullest potential and become successful. She encouraged her students to think independently, explore their own ideas, and become determined and self-reliant learners. Her teaching style was focused on instilling self-confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in her students. She inspired many people around the world with her dedication to providing students with an excellent educational experience and helping them reach their potential.
