Masonite

Masonite is a type of wood product that people use to make stuff like doors, walls and furniture. It's not made from a whole tree, but from bits and pieces of wood that have been ground into tiny pieces and then mashed together with glue to make a new kind of wood. It's flat and smooth, and it can be painted or stained to look different colors. So, like when you play with Play-Doh and squish different colors together to make a new color, people do the same with this wood to make a new and helpful material!
