Master and Servant Act

The Master and Servant Act is a law that was around a long time ago. It said that if you were a servant, you had to do what your master said, and you couldn't leave your job without permission. The master had to provide food and shelter, and they couldn't treat their servants badly. Basically, it was like rules that said the master must treat their servant fairly.
