Material requirements planning

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is a system for making sure a business has enough materials (like wood, metal, fabric, or any other item needed to make a product) at the right time. MRP looks at how much of an item a business needs, when it needs it, and how much of it needs to be on hand. This helps the business make sure they don't run out of the things they need to make their products.
