ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Meal voucher

A meal voucher is like a special ticket or coupon that you can use to buy food at certain places. Think of it like a note from your mom or dad that says, "Here's some money for you to get lunch at school today." Instead of getting money, you get a voucher that you can exchange for food.

Sometimes, when people go to work or when they go on a trip, their boss or the company they are with will give them meal vouchers. This is to make sure they can eat when they are away from home.

When you get a meal voucher, you can take it to the place that it's for, and they will give you food that is worth the same amount as the voucher. Sometimes the voucher will have a specific value, like $5 or $10, and other times it will be for a specific meal, like a burger and fries.

Meal vouchers are a great way to make sure people can eat when they need to, even when they don't have any money. They are used by lots of different people, like students, workers, and travelers.
