ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Medical biophysics

Medical biophysics is a field of medicine that looks at how the body works by looking at the physics of the body. It looks at how the body moves, how different parts of the body interact, and how the physics of the body affect how it works. For example, medical biophysics can help explain why you get injured if you slip on a patch of ice, or why you can't see very well in the dark. It also looks at how the physics of the body can be used in medical treatments, like using lasers to help heal a sore throat or using high-tech machines to look inside the body. In short, medical biophysics helps us understand how the body works, and how to make it work better.
