Medical students' disease

Medical students' disease is a term used when someone (usually a medical student!) feels unusually anxious about the possibility that they might have a certain disease or medical condition. It is a kind of fear or worry that can happen to anyone, even if they don't actually have the disease. Medical students may be more prone to this kind of fear because they are studying and learning about different diseases, so they may start to convince themselves that they have a certain disease or medical condition.
