Mending Wall

Mending walls are like fences. They are made of stone or other materials and are used to divide two areas of land or separate property. People will build a mending wall to keep animals and people off of their property or create a boundary between two areas. When people build a mending wall, it needs to be mended, or fixed, every once in a while. This is done by checking and repairing any cracks, holes, or broken pieces of the wall. Sometimes people need to bring in more stones or cement to fix up their mending wall. It's like when you have a toy that needs repairing, but instead of fixing a toy, people need to fix their mending wall.
