Mentioned in dispatches

Sometimes when grown-ups are very brave or do something very important, they get a special message from their boss that says "Good job!". That message is called "mentioned in dispatches". It's like getting a gold star or a pat on the back, but for really important things. It makes the brave grown-up feel proud and happy because they know they did something good.
