Mercantilism

Mercantilism is a type of economic system where countries focus on having a lot of money and gold, and don't trade too much with other countries. They focus on producing goods themselves and buying goods from other countries only if it makes them richer. So, they try not to give other countries their money, and instead try to get money from other countries, like a shopping game where you try to get more than you give away.
