Meristem

Meristem is where a plant grows. It's kind of like the plant's little babies that haven't grown up yet. They are always dividing and growing, so the plant can keep growing taller and bigger. Just like how you grow taller and bigger every year, the plant grows by using meristem. Meristem is very important because it helps the plant have leaves, flowers, and fruits. So, just like how you need food to grow, plants need meristem to grow big and strong!
