Mesa Verde National Park
Mesa Verde National Park is a place where ancient people called Ancestral Puebloans used to live a very long time ago, even before you were born! It is in Colorado in the United States.
The people who lived there a long time ago built amazing homes just like we do today, but they made their homes in cliffs and caves on top of a mesa, which is a flat-topped mountain.
Back then, they didn't have all the tools and technology we have now, so they had to be very creative and resourceful when building their homes. They made walls using stone and mud, and the roofs were made of sticks, mud, and grass.
