Messapic language

Messapic language is like a secret code that people used to speak a long, long time ago in a place called Messapia, which is in Italy. It was a way for people to talk to each other without others understanding what they were saying.

Just like how you might have a secret language with your friends where you use special words or make up your own words, Messapic language had its own special letters and sounds that only people from Messapia could understand.

People used Messapic language to talk about important things like business, trade, and even to make plans to go to war. But over time, people stopped using Messapic language and started speaking other languages instead.

Today, Messapic language is very rare and even though people have studied it, we still don't know everything about it. But it's really cool to learn about how people used to communicate a long time ago!
