Metric time

Okay kiddo, you know how we have 24 hours in a day, right? Well, some people think that's kind of complicated, so they came up with a new way to measure time. It's called metric time.

Instead of 24 hours in a day, metric time has 10 hours in a day. Each hour is then divided into 100 minutes, and each minute is divided into 100 seconds. So one day in metric time is 100,000 seconds long.

This might seem strange to us, but it actually makes calculations easier for scientists and mathematicians. They don't have to worry about things like fractions of hours or uneven time zones.

But don't worry, most people still use the clocks and calendars we're used to. Metric time isn't very popular outside of specific industries, so we'll stick to our normal way of telling time for now.
