Mexeflote

So kiddo, you know how boats are used to travel across water? Well, the mexeflote is a special type of boat that is used by the military to transport big trucks and even tanks across rivers or other bodies of water.

It's called a mexeflote because it's made up of flat platforms that are called pontoons. These pontoons are connected together to make one big platform. The mexeflote can hold up to seven or eight of these pontoons side by side, and they can be fitted with different equipment depending on what's needed.

The pontoons are filled with air to keep them afloat, and there are special pumps onboard to keep the air pressure right. The mexeflote also has big engines that can push it through the water really quickly.

When the military needs to move big trucks or tanks across a river, they load them onto the mexeflote using special ramps. Then, the mexeflote moves across the water to the other side, and the trucks or tanks can drive off again.

So, the mexeflote is like a big floating platform that can carry heavy things across a river or other body of water. It's really useful for the military because it allows them to move equipment quickly and safely.
