Microtransplantation

Microtransplantation is like giving your plants new homes!

Let's pretend you have a big garden with lots of different plants. Some of the plants might need to be moved to a different spot in the garden so they can grow better.

Microtransplantation is when a tiny piece of a plant (called a "microcutting") is taken from one plant and put into a new place in the garden, like in a little cup of soil. This tiny piece of the plant can grow into a whole new plant, just like when you plant a seed.

Scientists use microtransplantation to help plants grow better and faster. They take tiny pieces of a plant, grow them in a special lab or greenhouse, and then put them in the ground where they can grow big and healthy. This helps farmers grow more crops, and it can also help endangered plant species grow so they don't go extinct.

So, microtransplantation is like giving your plants new homes so they can grow big and strong!
