Military history of Sweden

Okay, so Sweden is a country in Europe that has a really long history of fighting wars with other countries. Many years ago, Sweden would send its soldiers on boats to other countries to fight their armies.

Another famous time in Swedish military history was during World War II. Sweden tried to stay neutral and not pick a side, but they still had to be prepared in case they were attacked. They built a lot of defensive fortresses and had soldiers ready to protect their country.

Today, Sweden has a well-trained army that is ready to defend their country if needed. They also contribute to peacekeeping missions around the world to help other countries.
