Milk tea

Milk tea is a special drink that some people really enjoy! It's made by taking tea (which is a special type of plant that you can soak in hot water to make a tasty drink) and adding milk to it. The milk can make the tea taste creamier and sweeter, which some people like.

To make milk tea, you start by boiling water and steeping tea leaves in it. Once the tea has brewed for a few minutes, you then add some milk or a milk substitute, like almond or soy milk. You can also add sugar or other sweeteners to make the tea taste even better.

Different people like different types of milk tea. Some might prefer a strong black tea with lots of milk and sugar, while others might like a fruity tea with a little bit of milk. There are even different types of milk tea from different countries, like Hong Kong-style milk tea or Taiwanese bubble tea which has chewy tapioca balls in it!

So if you ever see a sign for milk tea, now you know what it is! It's a yummy and refreshing drink that can be enjoyed all year round.
