Mill town

A mill town is a place where many people work in a factory called a mill. In these mills, big machines called machines help make things like cloth or paper. Why are these towns called mill towns? That's because the people who work in the factory and live in the town usually depend on the mill for their jobs and money. So the whole town is kind of like a big team, with everyone working together to make sure the mill keeps running and making things.
