ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Millennial Day Theory

Millennial Day Theory is an idea that comes from the Christian religion. It suggests that the Earth has been around for 6,000 years, and that these 6,000 years are just like a week's worth of days. According to this theory, each day represents 1,000 years of Earth's existence.

The theory also states that after the 6,000th year (which technically represents the seventh day), the world will come to an end, and it will enter a new age of peace and happiness known as the Millennium. This is where the word "millennial" comes from.

Some people believe that we are currently living in the last 1,000 years before the end of the world. This is known as the "Millennium" or the "End Times." They believe that things like war, natural disasters, and other world events are signs that the end is near.

However, it's important to note that not all Christians believe in the Millennial Day Theory, and many other religions have their own ideas about the end of the world. Regardless of what you believe, the most important thing to focus on is being kind to others and making the world a better place while we are here.
