ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Millennial pause

Sometimes, when things are happening really fast, it's good to take a pause and think about what's going on. That's kind of like what the millennial pause is. It's a time where people who are millennials (which means they were born between the years of 1981 and 1996) are trying to take a break and figure out what they really want in life.

Being a millennial can be really exciting, but it can also be really overwhelming. There are so many things going on in the world, and it can be hard to keep up with everything. Plus, millennials are dealing with things that previous generations didn't have to deal with, like social media and a really tough economy.

So, the millennial pause is a time when people are taking a step back and thinking about what they really want. Maybe they want to focus more on their careers, or maybe they want to take some time to travel and see the world. Whatever it is, the millennial pause is a chance for people to take a break from the craziness of life and figure out what will make them the happiest and most fulfilled.
