Mineral-insulated copper-clad cable

Imagine you want to connect two things together, but they need to be electrically insulated from each other. That means that electricity can't flow from one thing to the other, because it might cause a short circuit and damage the devices. To solve this problem, you can use mineral-insulated copper-clad cable!

Mineral-insulated copper-clad cable is a special type of cable that has a layer of insulation made of minerals, which doesn't let electricity pass through. It also has a core made of copper, which is good at conducting electricity. So, you can connect one device to the copper core, and the other device to the outside surface of the cable (also made of copper). The electricity flows through the copper core, but can't escape to the outside because of the mineral insulation.

This type of cable is very useful in situations where you need high levels of electrical insulation, like in high-temperature environments or places with a risk of fire. It's also flexible and can be bent into different shapes, which makes it easy to install in tight spaces. Mineral-insulated copper-clad cable is often used in industrial settings, like factories and power plants, as well as in some home appliances like ovens or water heaters.
