Minimal counterintuitiveness effect is when something is slightly weird or unexpected, but still makes sense. For example, imagine you're eating a sandwich. You'd expect that the sandwich is thin, but if it's slightly thicker than usual, it could be considered minimally counterintuitive. It's not so strange that you can't understand it, but it's different enough that it stands out a bit.
