Minor metals

Minor metals are special elements that are not found in large quantities on Earth. They are called "minor" because they are rare compared to commonly used metals like iron or copper.

Let me give you an example. Do you remember the time when you went to the store with your mom to buy some batteries for your toy car? Those batteries contain a minor metal called cobalt. Cobalt is very important because it is used to make rechargeable batteries for your toys and other electronic devices like phones, computers, and electric cars.

Another minor metal is platinum. Platinum is used to make jewelry, but it is also very important for our environment. It is used in catalytic converters, which help reduce harmful emissions from cars and trucks. This means the air we breathe will be cleaner and healthier for everyone.

Minor metals may be small in quantity, but they are very important for creating the things we use every day. Without them, our toys, phones, computers, and cars would not work properly.
