Missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) are young people who volunteer to spread the Church's teachings to other people in their communities. They usually go in teams of two and wear special clothing. They spend two years living away from their families and learning how to teach the Church's beliefs. Then, they travel to another area and spend the next two years meeting with people and teaching the Church's teachings. They also help people in their community by providing service and teaching them how to live better lives.
