Mixed twins
Sometimes, when a mommy and a daddy make a baby, not all the things that make the baby look like its parents are the same. This can mean that the baby looks a little different from either the mommy or the daddy.
Now, imagine if the mommy and daddy made two babies at the same time! These babies are called twins. Twins can look very similar because they come from the same mommy and daddy, but sometimes they can look a little different too.
When twins look really different from each other, we call them mixed twins. This can happen when one of the babies has a darker skin color or a different hair type than the other one. It can also happen when one twin is a boy and the other twin is a girl!
Mixed twins are still special and loved, just like any other twins. And it's important to remember that even though they might not look exactly the same, they are still part of the same family and part of each other's lives forever.
