ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Mobile deep linking

Imagine you have a toy box filled with lots of different toys. You want to play with your favorite toy, a teddy bear, but you don't want to waste time looking for it in the toy box. Instead, you ask your mom to help you by pointing to exactly where the teddy bear is located in the box.

Mobile deep linking works in a similar way. When you click on a link in an app or on the internet, it takes you to a specific page or section within an app instead of just opening the app's homepage. This saves you time searching for what you want and takes you directly to the information you need.

Think of the app like the toy box and the section you want to access like the teddy bear. With deep linking, you can quickly and easily access that specific section without having to navigate through the entire app. This makes it easier for you to find what you want and get things done faster!
